What’s next for Dignity Village?
Training in livestock production (pigs, cattle, chickens) will begin
soon. Once candidates have been educated and
donations received, PPP can begin purchasing the
startup stock for families interested in this
micro-business. PPP hopes to purchase 25 acres
adjoining Dignity Village for future expansion of the agricultural program,
beekeeping, and livestock production, providing lob opportunities for 30 more families.
PPP will begin a Housing Project to provide safe and affordable housing
for families working at Dignity Village. PPP is
working with a volunteer
architect during Phase One of this project
to develop an affordable housing plan.
The additional acreage creates an excellent opportunity to design a desirable
neighborhood that includes the expanded agricultural
program.
