Dear Friends of PPP,
I come to you today with a wonderful message of hope
for those women, children and fa
milies in Paraguay
that the People of Paraguay Project have been able to help.
Today, Dignity Village is providing families with
safety, security, and hope for the
future. Women,
men and young people are finding vocational success because of opportunities the
PPP has provided and children now have access to
better health, education and
family stability because of PPP's
Child Sponsors.
Until recently. gifts from oue PPP
donor base, together with occasional donations
from service clubs and
organizations, was sufficient to keep our programs in Paraguay growing at
a steady pace. With recent global disasters support of the PPP Outright
Donations, Child Sponsorship,
Housing, Emergency
Medical, and Dignity Programs have waned.
Because of the shortfall in gifts which we r
ely on, we have had to reduce the
hours and salary of the Paraguayan staff and have put a greater burden on
volunteers. I am praying this is a temporary
situation. During this time, the People of
Paraguay Project staff are working to continue our programs of support and use
our existing resources efficiently.
As a small organization, we do not have staff
dedicated to fundraising as many larger organizations
have. Instead we have chosen to support
the programs in Paraguay with all the donations we
receive. But PPP USA
does want to expand its donor base. Due to the
lack of advertising dollars, word-of-mouth will be key
to this effort. So I am asking you to help
spread the word about the Project for the People of Paraguay.
After looking over this web site, please
tell others about it who would be interested in
continuing our success in Paraguay. Consider
family, friends, work associates,
organizations, or church and ask them to consider
becoming a member of the PPP family.
Our vision at PPP is to sustain our commitment to the people of Paraguay by
developing a strong network of support — from you and
others like you. Please prayerfully consider becoming an ongoing supporter for
those in need.
I pray that God will bless you with an abundance so you can continue to give
generously to help our poor brothers and sisters in Paraguay.
