Cristonomo Garcete, the father of six sponsored
children (5 girls and a boy) and the husband of the Project's sewing
instructor, is teaching a six month class in working with sheet metal, welding and small
foundry operation. The products produced for sale by Chistonomo and his students out
of the scrap metal they collect includes sharp fence post tops, pots and pans, tea
kettles, and even electrical box covers.
PPP provided the funds needed for the equipment to
set up this classroom at the Garcete home so that when Cristonomo is not
teaching he can use the equipment for his own business. For this arrangement Cristonomo
donates the time he spends teaching.
How can I help?
