We are presently in negotiations with Habitat for Humanity International (HHI) and governments officials of Asuncion, Paraguay, to purchase land and build a community, away from the slums now lived in, for the fifty Paraguayan families whose children are sponsored by generous people across the United States. We hope that you believe, as our sponsors do, that one person can make a difference and influence the course of human events. Please join us and make your contribution, and our effort, count.

What we are seeking now are monetary donations from people like you to cover the construction costs of the very modest homes we plan for this community. With the present exceptional monetary exchange rate and the resources of HHI, each home will be built for less than $10,000. As the PPP director, I will be traveling to Paraguay in early May for several weeks of negotiations with our friends at Habitat for Humanity and local government officials as well as talks with community leaders. But to have the upper hand in these proceedings I need to have your commitment before I leave. I know this does not give you much time to decide how much to give. My only advice is don't give until it hurts-just until it feels good.

How can I help?
